A French-programme school of 900 students in Baabda, founded in 1962.

What does a school day look like? Classes run from 7:45 to 14:30, with supervised study until 15:30 for collège and lycée. Maternelle and primaire share the lower courtyard; collège and lycée use the wing built in 2011. Every class from CP has a homeroom teacher who meets the parents twice a year.

What has changed since 1962? The stone building and the pine trees are the same. English entered the timetable in 1998, the science laboratory opened in 2011 and the library was rebuilt in 2019. The school has kept one campus and one entrance, on Rue des Cèdres.

Programmes

Ages 3 to 5

Maternelle

Petite, moyenne and grande section. French and Arabic from the first day, English from grande section.

Ages 6 to 11

Primaire

CP to CM2 on the French programme, with the Lebanese curriculum in Arabic, history and geography.

Ages 12 to 18

Collège et lycée

Sixième to terminale. French baccalauréat and Lebanese baccalauréat, all four series.

    A conversation with the child and the parents. Assessment from primaire onward.

Latest news

  1. Open days for September 2027 announced

    Three open days will take place on 21 November 2026, 16 January 2027 and 20 February 2027. Booking a visit opens with applications on 1 November.

  2. Rentrée 2026: 912 students on the first day

    Classes resumed on Monday 7 September with 912 students in 41 classes. Two new maternelle classrooms opened in the east wing.

  3. Baccalauréat 2026 results

    97% of terminale students passed the June session of the French baccalauréat, 61% with a mention. All 38 candidates for the Lebanese baccalauréat passed.
